Kali Ann Dilsaver, 2, of Atkinson, NE passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, NE. Funeral Services are 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at First Reformed Church in Platte, SD and 11:30 A.M. Friday, September 15, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Atkinson. A Committal Service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Atkinson. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. on Friday prior to services in Nebraska. Mount Funeral Home of Platte and Seger Funeral Home of Atkinson are assisting with arrangements.

Kali Ann Dilsaver was born on March 19, 2015 to Kara Haushild and Avery Dilsaver in O’Neill, NE. She could always be found with a smile on her face fearlessly looking for her next adventure. Kali loved playing with her brother, Logan, her dolls and her grandma’s cats. She enjoyed being outside, was very happy, bright and helpful. She was an outgoing girl – sweet and a little sassy. Kali loved people and gave the ultimate gift of life as a donor.

Kali had a presence and a smile that could light up a whole room. She was a girlie girl who loved sparkles and pink and purple! It was also very common that she was covered head to toe in dirt and mud. Just the caring touch of her hand or her loving hugs and kisses could melt your heart.

Her brother was her best friend and she loved him more and more every day. She looked after him - she looked after all of us. She loved every living thing (even bugs) and was amazed by every new thing she saw and learned. She was the perfect little girl and there's not a single thing about her this world won't miss.

Kali was preceded in death by her grandpa, Tim Haushild; great-grandfather, Jake Haushild; great-grandfather, Tom Bischke; and great-grandmother, Shirley Chmiel.
